Woke up feeling dizzy for a few minutes, which is not normal for me, but the effect dissipated so I decided to go forward with the workout.
Squats
Points to consider
- 3x5 @ 220lb with 5 to 10 min rests
- I didn't feel particularly strong, but still managed to finish!
- I was coming into the balls of my feet a bit when coming out of the hole :\
- Still not getting the hips to move straight up as I think they're coming a bit forward. Next time concentrate on not going too deep, a little more acute back angle and hips up (and slightly back) from the bottom. The 185lb warmup form is closer to how I was the heavy weight form to look
Overhead press
Points to consider
- 3x5 @ 100lb with 5 min rests
- Successful reps: 3, 2, 1
- This went terribly today and I'm not really sure why!?! Maybe I really was just tired
Deadlift
Points to consider
- 1x5 @ 245lb
- Judging from the press performance and due to time pressure, I dropped my work set to 245
