Looking forward to a couple of days of rest from bouldering and lifting, but I'm pleased to have made it thru the 185lb squats and 135lb bench presses even when not feeling especially energetic upon waking up.


Points to consider

  • 5x5 @ 185lb with 5 min rests
  • Felt OK and the lower back seemed more stable than in the last videos

Bench press

Points to consider

  • 5x5 @ 135lb with 5 min rests
  • First set felt hard, but I tried hard and finished the set. the next 4 sets felt more controlled.
  • I could feel my back push into the bench. need to keep abs, glutes and legs tight during movement

Barbell row

Points to consider

  • Did not complete as my right wrist hurt too much during warmup sets. I think I hurt it while bouldering :(
