Squats

Points to consider

  • 5x5 @ 175lb with 4/5 min rests
  • I'm not balancing the bar equally :\ Due to grip differences? bar not centered on back? Something else?
  • The bar balance seems to be off right from the unracking stage. Am I allowing the bar to settle lower on my left side?

Overhead press

Points to consider

  • 5x5 @ 95lb with 4/5 min rests
  • successful reps: 5, 5, 5, 4, 3
  • Must try harder to keep legs/glutes and abs tight throughout the whole set

Deadlift

Points to consider

  • 1x5 @ 225lb
  • Felt fine, but make sure to remain vigilent about setup awareness: hips not too high or low, shoulders in front of bar, back straight and then a deep breath and drive hips forward
  • Guy watching suggested that I make sure my shoulders are not hunched forward. Next time keep that in mind and get a vid from a front facing angle
