Felt much better than just a few days ago.
Squats
Points to consider
- 160lb for 5x5 with 3/4 minute rests
- I concentrated on keeping my upper back tight and elbows down and in; the bar felt well balanced on my back
- Stance was a little more narrow (shoulder width) and I concentrated on hips going back and having my torso lean forward a bit more. Felt good
Overhead press
Points to consider
- 5x5 @ 85lb with 5 min rests
- Not easy to complete, but not terribly hard.
- Form is continuing to feel more fluid. Still tough to keep elbows from flaring and core/lower body tight throughout.
Deadlift
Points to consider
- 1x5 @ 205lb
- I tried to shift back a bit before pulling to lock into position; sometimes it was feeling effective.
- Hips didn't rise early as much, but still did a bit. Needs more work.
