  • Been awhile since I've really dissected my form. Plan to get another vid soon and do a detailed examination

Overhead press

Points to consider

  • 5x5 @ 90lb with 4/5 min rests
  • I was a little shaky and started to feel the fatigue on sets 4 and 5, but still finished.
  • Keeping my upper back arched a bit seems to make it easier to keep abs and glutes tight too.


Points to consider

  • 2x5 @ 205lb
  • Tried to fix hip rise by thinking of the movement as wedging my hips down and in as I push away from the floor. This, along with making sure there's no slack in my arms and my hamstrings are tight, really helped to cut down on the early hip rise and these deadlift sets felt better than any others before.
