The "RRLateExit" app allows you to quickly request a late exit permit to avoid an expensive ticket when climbing eligible multipitch routes in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Although it's already pretty easy to obtain a late exit permit by manually calling the BLM and leaving a recording, it can be a little easier. For that reason and wanting an excuse to have a project, the RRLateExit software was created. The intention is to make it so easy to obtain a late exit permit that you'll be even more likely to get one: just in case you need it.

Read usage instructions.

No personal data is saved on the server. Records are kept for route area, route name and when the request was received. Once the request has finished, all related audio recordings are removed from the server.

You can find more details about late exit permits on the official BLM page about rock climbing in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area.
